What is Shoppa Holla?

Shoppa-Holla was a nightly 4-hour raid train created by @omgyg, co-created by @vintageresaletherapy, and made possible with the help of 23 amazing seller 'coordinators,' as listed above. Each night featured a different theme or category, rotating on a weekly basis.  Shoppa-Holla ran from June - December 2024 however some coordinator teams plan to continue the name and possibly the concept into 2025 with some tweaks.  

The concept was to create a focused, top-notch 4-hour raid train that showcased the BEST sellers with the BEST items from popular themes and categories that competed in the 2024 Battle of the BEST. Sellers were invited to bring their BEST items, price them reasonably, and participate in a hand-selected lineup curated by each coordinator team.

Each seller had 20 minutes to shine, selling their items, hosting one follower giveaway, and running one EPIC 'Banger' item or lot starting at a $1 bid. The ultimate goal was to elevate the buying and selling experience on #whatnot, allowing sellers to earn as much—or more—in just 20 minutes as they might during hours of live streaming. Buyers enjoyed fantastic deals, top-notch sellers, and fast shipping, creating a true win-win for everyone.

The cross-category, collaborative nature of the event aimed to promote exposure to new sellers and categories on #whatnot, introducing viewers to corners of the platform they might not have explored. While we worked hard to ensure the event was not "cliquish," the limited 12 spots per day per theme or category made this a challenge. However, we made a point to include at least three new sellers to the train each day, ensuring fresh opportunities and perspectives for both buyers and sellers.

Your hard work, enthusiasm, and dedication brought this concept to life and created something truly special.
